In the Country

We talked about how people use land in the country. Here are some of our ideas.

The farm has horses and the horses eat leaves and the horses eat apples too. The farm grows pears and apples and carrots. There is grass and trees.

In the country you will find farms. This is what I saw. A grape tree and carrots too. Cows were getting milked. Sheep were getting chased by the dogs so they could get shorn for making jackets and jerseys. And one rabbit hopping along.

In the country at night you can hear the owls. My aunty lives in the country. She says it is very quiet in the country. There are orchards in the country. In orchards there are apples and oranges and pears.

In the country you can find heaps of farms. On the farms you can see dogs and sheep and also cows. Cows give us milk. Sheep dogs can put the sheep where they have to go. They can be warm. They help the garden grow. There are trees on the farm.
